Guess I’m running….

Week 2 

This is the start of week 2! Today is a cross train day but because I had a race yesterday I’m thinking about taking it easy. I might do a yoga dvd later depending on how my knees and hips feel. I’ve been foam rolling and getting lots of stuff done around the house. This week I’m going to start to focus on my diet & really start training.

Tuesday: 3 miles (1500 cals)

Wednesday: 5 miles (1500 cals) 

Thursday: 3 miles (1500 cals)

Friday: Rest (1250 cals)

Saturday: 9 miles (2000 cals) 

Sunday: Cross Train (1500 cals) 

Week One

This is week one of my marathon training and since it coincides with my first (yipes!) ten miler this weekend my mileage adds up to about 19 miles for the week which is consistent with my training program just spread out a little differently. Next Monday I’ll start following the program closer and I’ll start tracking my caloric intake and the breakdown of what I consume.

I have a feeling this is gonna be one hell of a ride but I’m ready!

Do 5 Cycles of the Following: 

  • 20 squats
  • 20 crunches
  • 10 lunges per leg
  • 10 crunches
  • 20 calf raises
  • 20 crunches 

I do this everyday!
